Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Grain Farm Workers to join our agricultural team for the 2024 farming season. As a Grain Farm Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintaining grain crops. This position offers hands-on experience in modern grain farming and is ideal for individuals looking to work in an agricultural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Work: Assist in planting, irrigating, and maintaining grain crops such as wheat, barley, canola, and corn.
  • Harvesting: Operate and maintain basic farm machinery such as tractors, combines, seeders, and sprayers during the harvest season.
  • Crop Monitoring: Check fields for pest infestations, weed growth, and crop health, and report findings to the farm supervisor.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on farming equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and simple repairs.
  • Loading and Transporting: Load grain into transport trucks and ensure safe and efficient transport to storage facilities.
