This position is taking charge of supporting construction projects through various tasks including material handling, site preparation, assisting skilled workers, operating equipment, and maintaining safety standards on-site.Essential Duties and Responsibilities·         Transport and arrange building supplies at construction areas·         Set up and take down temporary structures like scaffolds and safety barriers·         Combine and apply various construction materials as needed; maintain and operate construction equipment such as cement mixers·         Support specialized tradespeople with their tasks; guide heavy machinery operators and help attach specialized equipment·         Help with pipeline installation and alignment; assist with excavation and rock removal activities·         Prepare ground surfaces to exact specifications; clear away debris and tidy up work areas·         Aid in building demolition and salvage operations·         Use hand-operated power tools as instructed; perform basic maintenance on lifting equipment·         Handle hazardous material cleanup following proper procedures·         Manage traffic flow around construction zones·         Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisorsSkills & Qualifications·         No formal education required, and with secondary education  and above is preferred ·         Previous experience in general construction labor is beneficial but not mandatory.
