Job Description

Ever New Melbourne is a rapidly growing international fashion retailer rooted in Melbourne, Australia, known for celebrating feminine beauty through our unique style and innovative monthly collections. We are looking for a fashion-focused Retail Store Supervisor to oversee locations at Hudson’s Bay Georgian Mall.

As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will report to the Area Manager and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a vibrant store environment. While based primarily at a home location, you will be responsible for coordinating operations and leading a team across multiple stores.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers across designated store locations.

  • Assign duties to sales workers, prepare work schedules, and ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.

  • Authorize payments, process returns, and resolve customer concerns, including escalated requests and complaints.

  • Oversee inventory levels, order merchandise as needed, and manage stock across locations to minimize supply shortages.

  • Prepare regular reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, supporting the regional and head office as required.

  • Hire, train, and mentor new sales staff; monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback.

  • Ensure each store location maintains Ever New’s visual standards, including store displays, signage, and cleanliness.

  • Perform key holding duties, including opening and closing stores, managing escalated issues, and supporting marketing strategies as required.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management or supervisory experience, ideally within fashion retail.

  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for driving sales.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to foster a positive team environment.

  • Flexibility to travel between assigned store locations as required.
