Currently, we are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator, with experience in setting up and operating machines in a manufacturing setting to join our Production team.

Hours: (optional to work overtime and weekends depending on volume)

  • 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday to Thursday

  • 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

rnrn

- Operate packaging equipment in accordance with appropriate SOPs
rn- Complete all required documentation neatly and accurately
rn- Set-up and conduct cleaning of equipment and room with guidance from higher level operators packaging Leadhands
rn- Transfer finished products to the Warehouse
rn- Report equipment malfunctions and immediately report quality deficiencies
rn- Offer suggestion for process improvement when identified
rn- Other related duties as specified by supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:

rnrn

- Completion of secondary school
rn- Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
rn- Possess practical experience in their responsibility area
rn- Good command in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to read, understand and follow SOPs
rn- Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operation including bottling line, blister packaging, shrink wrapping and cartoning
rn- Good mathematical skills
rn- Willingness to learn
rn- Ability to use tools proficiently
rn- Previous experience in operating machines would be considered an asset
rn- Ability to lift a minimum of 10kg
rn- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset
