  Job Description

Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities: You will need to plan and implement activities that are suitable for the developmental needs of LKG and UKG students. This may include activities such as storytelling, art and craft, and games that help develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills.

Providing a safe and nurturing learning environment: As a teacher, it is important to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children. This includes ensuring that the classroom is clean and tidy, and that all materials and equipment are safe and age-appropriate.

Encouraging independence and self-discipline: Montessori education is based on the philosophy of fostering independence and self-discipline in children. You will need to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop good habits and routines.

Assessing and tracking student progress: You will need to assess and track student progress using a variety of methods, such as observation, checklists, and portfolios. This will help you identify areas where students may need extra support and tailor your teaching to their individual needs.

Communicating with parents and caregivers: You will need to communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to keep them informed of their child's progress and any areas of concern. You may also need to provide guidance and support to parents on how to support their child's learning at home.

Participating in professional development: As a Montessori trainee teacher, you will need to participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and techniques. This may include attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
