Job Duties: 

• Plan, coordinate, oversee, manage, and assess the activities of the personnel or human resources departments.
• Plan needs for human resources in collaboration with other department managers.
• Coordinate hiring and training initiatives both within and externally.
• Create and execute labor relations guidelines and protocols and engage in collective bargaining negotiations.
• Oversee language instruction, employee development, and health and safety initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to fellow department managers regarding the administration and interpretation of personnel policies and initiatives.
• Oversee the rating and classification of professions.
• Arrange and carry out informational meetings for employees regarding employment policies, benefits, and pay. Additionally, take an active role in a number of joint committees.
• Oversee the company's quality control program.
• Make sure laws like the Pay Equity Act are followed.

Education & Experience Requirement: 

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion of bachelor’s degree or professional development program in the field it required.
• 1 year or more experience in the field is required.
