Job Details

Provide care and companionship for a child with disability. The child is suffering from depression and autism, the symptoms are trending worse recently. Looking for a female caregiver who is reliable and patient with children with mental disorders, the child is a female and is living with a single father who has busy work schedule. The child sometimes has suicide intents, so close attention and continuous companionship with love is needed.

Work minimum 30 hours per week. Work hours may vary depending on the health condition of the child that may require work weekend or shifts when the care needs arise. Work hours can be adjusted based on real time situation.

10 days paid leave after completing 1 year of employment.

 

Job Duties:

Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing/undress, personal hygiene and in bed care as needed, etc.

Remind and monitor the medication as per doctor’s prescription

Provide the companionship and chat with the child to provide emotional support (note: the family speaks Mandarin, so Mandarin proficiency is an asset.)

Prepare nutritious meals

Do the laundry and grocery shopping regularly

Assist the client daily activities such as taking reasonable exercise as walking, indoor or outdoor

Light housekeeping
