Job Description
Establish work schedules
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
Ensure food service and quality control
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Prepare food order summaries for chef
Supervise and check assembly of food
Candidate(s) should have:
Minimum College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
1-2 years of experience in handling a team of 5-10 staff members
Must be Client focused
Must have efficient interpersonal and communication skills
Must be a team player and flexible to work in a fast pace environment
Ability to speak, understand and write in English
Ability to work in kitchen for extended hours.
