JOB DESCRIPTION FOR English Language Faculty

Position Opening:
Faculty for English Language Development (Commerce – Jr. & Degree section).

The duties and responsibilities of a faculty shall include the following:
- Contributes to student learning, growth and advancement.
- Demonstrates academic competence in subject area(s) and displays an inclination for developing integrated and interdisciplinary work across the curriculum.
- Maintains a growth mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional development.
- Demonstrates a high degree of self-efficacy; holds themselves accountable for learner outcomes and advocates for their students; works efficiently; and believes in their ability, the capability of their students and themselves to succeed and excel.

- Facilitates problem-solving, with critical thinking skills, showing a high degree of creative application in the implementation of the curriculum.

- Being on the cutting edge of instructional practice & pedagogy.
- Collaborates effectively with a variety of stakeholder groups within the organization and with external partners to increase student performance and contribute to advancing the teaching and learning craft.

- Look beyond the walls of classroom and demonstrate global competence.
- Recognize the relationship between social-emotional learning and academic performance and aspire towards developing and teaching the child on whole.
- Facilitate differentiated and personalized learning goals and activities that are aligned to instructional goals and engage students in high-level cognitive activity.

Required Skills:

- Good command of English and able to make content as per the student’s requirements.

- Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for students.
- Desire and ability to work with hearing impaired children with diverse background and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet various deadlines.
- Manage groups of students in a classroom environment and communicate effectively with students, parent and other staff, including the ability to discuss topics which may be sensitive.

- Working familiarity with assistive technologies to enhance student learning.

Education/Experience:
-Master’s Degree in education or related field.
- Recent teaching experience (if any) shall be a plus point.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
