Our recent focus on building an in-house workforce demonstrates our commitment to timely project completion and maintaining high standards. We are looking for a dedicated Construction Worker. This position is taking charge of supporting construction projects through various tasks including material handling, site preparation, assisting skilled workers, operating equipment, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Transport and arrange building supplies at construction areas

·         Set up and take down temporary structures like scaffolds and safety barriers

·         Combine and apply various construction materials as needed; maintain and operate construction equipment such as cement mixers

·         Support specialized tradespeople with their tasks; guide heavy machinery operators and help attach specialized equipment

·         Help with pipeline installation and alignment; assist with excavation and rock removal activities

·         Prepare ground surfaces to exact specifications; clear away debris and tidy up work areas

·         Aid in building demolition and salvage operations

·         Use hand-operated power tools as instructed; perform basic maintenance on lifting equipment

·         Handle hazardous material cleanup following proper procedures

·         Manage traffic flow around construction zones

·         Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Skills & Qualifications

·         No formal education required, and with secondary education  and above is preferred

·         Previous experience in general construction labor is beneficial but not mandatory. Newcomers to the field are welcome to apply, as we provide comprehensive training for all aspects of the job

·         Ability to work in various weather conditions, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety are essential

·         Familiarity with basic hand tools and willingness to learn new skills are valued.Term: Permanent

Salary: $18.0 / hourly
