  Job Description

Company Introduction: 

Red Lion Inn and Suites has been in Victoria since 1965. In additional to its 100 rooms, the hotel features Sports Lounge, a Beer and Wine Store and a Chinese Restaurant. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
  • Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
  • Clean, disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances in lobbies, aisles, stairwells, etc.
  • Clean and disinfect public areas of hotel such as lobby, corridor and elevators, etc.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Report and store lost and found items
  • May provide basic information on facilities
  • May handle complaints.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Cleaning, house keeping experience are required.
  • Language: English is required; Mandarin or Cantonese as an asset.
