Responsibilities

Core Tasks:

• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, lightweight steel, and other substitutes.

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.

Supervision Duties:

• Supervise 1 to 2 people as part of your work responsibilities.
