Job description:

Company Introduction: 

Red Lion Inn and Suites has been in Victoria since 1965. In additional to its 100 rooms, the hotel features Sports Lounge, a Beer and Wine Store and a Chinese Restaurant. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·      Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors

·      Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

·      Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies

·      Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas

·      Clean, disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances in lobbies, aisles, stairwells, etc.

·      Clean and disinfect public areas of hotel such as lobby, corridor and elevators, etc.

·      Pick up debris and empty trash containers

·      Wash windows, walls and ceilings.

·      Report and store lost and found items

·      May provide basic information on facilities

·      May handle complaints.

Qualifications and skills:

• Cleaning, housekeeping experience as an asset.
• Language: English is required; Mandarin or Cantonese as an asset.
