Job Summary

The Manangan Household is looking for a Child Caregiver – Private Household. This position is responsible for the well-being and physical and social development of children and infants, assisting with childcare and household duties. This position is to care for the children/infant in the private household of the owner. This position is in Olds, Alberta.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Child Caregiver.
• Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Must speak English.
• Must be organized and be able to multitask.

All job responsibilities are not limited to other duties/tasks that may be assigned to this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Tend to emotional well-being of children.
• Any other duties/tasks that may be relevant to this position.
