Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible caregiver to provide high-quality care for our child. The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that supports the children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for the child.

• Plan and organize educational and recreational activities suitable for preschool-aged children

• Support the development of social skills, problem-solving, and creativity through guided activities

• Prepare meals and snacks, and ensure the child follows health and safety guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress and daily activities

• Follow the policies and procedures of the childcare program

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education preferred

• Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent is an asset

• Current First Aid and CPR certification required

• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to safety

Working Conditions

• Indoor childcare environment

• May include outdoor playtime in all weather conditions

• Regular lifting of children, toys, and supplies may be required

• Adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
