Position: Insurance Broker

Type: Full time, Permanent

Salary: $29/hour, plus commission

Work Hours: 35-40 hrs/w

Work Location: 313-3147 Douglas St, Victoria, BC V8Z 6E3

About the role:

• Meet with potential clients to access their insurance needs
• Research tailored policy options and quotes policy options for the client
• Present policy details to the client and sign the policy agreement
• Calculate and collect premiums
• Build and maintain customer portfolios
• Advise clients on when and how to make a claim on their policy
• Attend client, insurer, and industry functions to build networks and identify new business opportunities
• Other duties as assigned 

About You:

• Insurance agent license 
• Secondary school or above
• On job training will be provided, previous work experience will be an asset
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet a variety of

deadlines

• Possess excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Language required:  English, second language will be an asset
