EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Mountain View Precast Ltd is currently hiring CONCRETE FINISHERS. We are in need of more than five individuals who will work at our Fort Macleod location. Job duties involve concrete work with structural walls, panels, hollow core, and beams. Specific tasks include:

·      Checking formwork and reinforcement materials

·      Direct placement of concrete into forms and on surfaces

·      Filling hollows and removing high spots

·      Operating power equipment to compact and form concrete

·      Leveling surfaces according to specifications

·      Imparting desired finishes to surfaces using tools and equipment

·      Applying hardening and sealing compounds for curing surfaces

·      Tool and equipment maintenance as required

·      Adherence to safety standards and protocols

This is a full-time position and offers a salary of $27 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Some overtime may be required. Health benefits and paid vacation time are available following successful completion of the probation period.

To be eligible for this position you must have either completed an apprenticeship program as a concrete finisher or have more than three years of experience in concrete finishing. Safety certifications would be considered an asset.
