Home Child Care ProviderLocation: Private Home – North York, ON M3B 2S5Position Type: Full-timeWage: $20.85 per hourHours: 30 hours per weekJob DescriptionWe are seeking a responsible, caring, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive, nurturing care for childen in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy working with children in a safe and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:•  Provide full-time care and supervision for the children in the employer’s home.•  Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks appropriate to the children’s age and dietary needs.•  Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.•  Assist with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.•  Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the children at all times.•  Support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs.•  Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care (e.g., cleaning play areas, children’s laundry).•  Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children’s progress, routines, and any concerns.Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Home childcare provider Job duties include the following:·         Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.·         Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.·         Shop for food and household supplies.·         Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.·         Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.·         Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.·         Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children ·         Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.·         Organize activities such as games and outings for children.·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals. ·         Prepare infants and children for rest periods.·         Supervise and care for children. ·         Take the children to and from school and to appointments. ·         Tend to emotional well-being of children. ·         Help children with work.·         Cook.1 position available.2 years’ minimum experience is required. Position starts at $20.00/hour working 30 hours a week. Legally able to work in Canada including Indigenous people, newcomers to Canada, older workers, veterans, visible minorities, and youth.Post-secondary education is required.
